Philip has worked in specialty coffee for over 10 years. Originally wanting to teach, he took café jobs on the side while going to school. The more he learned about specialty coffee and the community around it, the more he fell in love. Philip worked as a roaster and coffee trainer in southern California, and always envisioned opening his own roastery; doing what he loved while giving back to the community. He moved to Des Moines, WA with his wife, Danielle, and began his journey of starting a roastery.
