The Tore Gelana site is located in Tore; the administrative town of the Gelana district. The Tore coffee garden coffee sources from 963 small scale farmers. They supply 100% of their produced coffee to Kerchanshe Trading PLC. The farmers reside in Jirme, Dango, Chalbesa Kebeles and Tore town.
The altitude is 1700 -1900 masl (meters above see level) while the mean annual rainfall ranges between 1400-1800mm. Mean annual temperature is 15-28C. The soil is deep sandy loam with good fertility.
There are 6 mills; 1 wet mill and 1 dry mill at main Tore unit, 1 dry mill at Tore Town, 1 wet mill at Giwe sub unit, 1 wet mill at Dango sub unit and 1 wet mill at Chelbessa sub unit. The annual combined production capacity is about 3,500,000 kg of red cherry.
